Electronic production/DJ duo Adriatique share a remix of Howling’s recent single 'Need You Now’, providing their own unique take on the track (taken from Howling’s sophomore full-length, “Colure”).

On “Colure”, RY X - solo alternative artist and member of The Acid - and Frank Wiedemann - one half of Ame - bring fans a bigger, sharper follow-up to their debut, “Sacred Ground”, and one that showcases Howling's versatile and contrasting sound. Lead track ‘Bind’ received press pick up from Resident Advisor, XLR8R, Line of Best Fit and more. The duo marked their debut as Howling with the release of a self-titled track in 2012, a runaway viral success that they followed with the 2015 album “Sacred Ground” (which was praised by Mixmag, DJ Mag, Resident Advisor and more). Their lauded live show toured internationally, taking in slots at Melt! Festival, Electronic Beats Festival and an Innervisions showcase at the Royal Albert Hall.

On “Colure” Howling wanted to pick up where they’d left off with their last record and distill the core ingredients to improve on it. “We wanted people to know, ‘This is a Howling track,’” they explain. The minutely-realised songwriting and production across each track are what tie these records together to create a stunning body of work. “We made this record around the world in the different places we found each other among our travels and tours” reminisces Ry, “we created studios in houses from gear we had on the road, we woke early with the sun to make music. It was a beautiful process of exploring sound and inspiration together”.

‘Need You Now (Adriatique Remix)’ is out today on Counter Records, taken from forthcoming album “Colure” out 24th July.
